Music video: ‘Ey!’, Mónica Naranjo & Bunbury

About This Project

Mónica Naranjo and Enrique Bunbury, two of the most important figures of the Spanish international music panorama, join their unique voices in this collaboration that will come up as part of Naranjo’s upcoming studio album, MIMÉTIKA.

“Ey!” —the given title to this second single—, constitutes a clear message on liberty and surviving, an ode to human feelings toward a political repression and abuse by the leaders of a totalitarian and corrupted nation.

Characterized by the influence of electronic rock that features Monica Naranjo’s new album, “Ey!” is filled with strong and forceful sounds that will lead us immediately to the social and political background that relates the song.

Produced by SEÑOR MONO and filmed between United States and Spain, the music video shows a torn and downhearted Monica Naranjo, crying out for freedom in a dark prison; Bunbury calling out for social revolution throughtout the verses of the song and Asier Etxeandia, who gives life to that low-diplomatic leader, thirsted of power.

Directed and realized by Juan Varela and Rafael Alarcón for Señor Mono.

Works: Full production. Filming. Editing. Realization. Promotion.
